Terms & Conditions – PT Event Catering LTD
(Governed by the law of Scotland)
1. Bookings & Deposits
All bookings are provisional until a 50% non-refundable deposit has been received. No date, staff, or services will be reserved until the deposit has cleared.
2. Payment Terms
The remaining balance will be invoiced once the booking is confirmed and must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
PT Event Catering LTD reserves the right to charge statutory late-payment interest and recovery costs in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. Prices & Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may be amended if event details change, including guest numbers, menu, location, service duration, or delivery requirements.
4. Cancellation Policy
If the client cancels a confirmed booking, cancellation charges will apply depending on the notice given:

More than 14 days before the event: 50% of the total booking fee (deposit retained)

7–14 days before the event: 75% of the total booking fee

Less than 7 days before the event: 100% of the total booking fee
These charges reflect committed staffing, food orders, and lost trading opportunity.
5. Changes by the Client
Final guest numbers, menu selections, and event details must be confirmed at least 7 days before the event. Any increases after this point will be charged in full and are subject to availability.
6. Food Safety & Allergies
While every reasonable care is taken, PT Event Catering LTD cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Clients must provide accurate dietary and allergy information in advance.
7. Limitation of Liability
PT Event Catering LTD shall not be liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by third-party venues, suppliers, utilities, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Independent Terms
PT Event Catering LTD supplies all services strictly under its own Terms & Conditions.
We are not bound by any other client, venue, or business terms, including those attached to purchase orders, contracts, or booking forms, unless expressly agreed in writing by PT Event Catering LTD.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events outside our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, supplier failure, staff illness, or government restrictions.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland, and the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
